With exceptional scholars as the core of our program, providing current MBA students with the resources necessary to excel both within the Auburn MBA Program and beyond is a top priority of the University. From the point of entry to career placement student support from a holistic perspective is job one of the entire MBA Staff.

Faculty

All MBA Program professors at Auburn University hold the degree of Ph.D. but have very diverse backgrounds coming from a variety of industry practices. MBA faculty are active not only as teachers, but also as researchers and private consultants working on the cutting edge of their respective disciplines.

Small class sizes and limited class loads ensure that MBA professors are readily accessible to students outside of the classroom. The goal of Auburn MBA faculty is to provide a supportive atmosphere in which students are challenged to succeed.

Career Services

A professional career advisor is responsible for overseeing the MBA Career Services Office. This individual works one on one with students to formulate career plans, coordinate internships, fine-tune professional presence skills and obtain placement upon graduation.

Association of Graduate Business Students

The Association of Graduate Business Students (AGBS) is an organization exclusively for graduate level business students at Auburn University. Holding regular meetings and social events, AGBS maintains the out-of-class experience for Auburn MBA’s. Notable speakers from various professions are invited to address students on a regular basis in promotion of professional development. AGBS also sponsors frequent social events including Auburn Football tailgates at every home game and regular parties celebrating milestones in the program and seasonal holidays.

Mentor Program

The AGBS co-sponsors a mentorship program with the MBA Program intended to help new graduate students get acclimated to their fresh environment and classes. Utilized to encourage interaction between first and second year MBA classes, the mentor program has proven to lead to beneficial relationships and future career opportunities. Mentors typically have luncheon or dinner meetings with mentees periodically throughout the fall semester.
