Full-Time On-Campus

teamApplication Process

Admission to the On-Campus Full-Time Auburn MBA Program is on a rolling basis with candidates applying for a specific fall semester entry. The application process is quite competitive with an approximately 45% acceptance rate. Applications are reviewed based on a weighted scale considering GMAT scores (qualitative and quantitative percentiles), overall undergraduate grade point average, degree(s) earned and institution(s) attended, work experience, leadership accomplishments, recommendations, personal interviews, and essay responses.

*Priority Application Deadline: For priority consideration, fully completed applications must be received by November 1st.

*Application Deadline: The final application deadline is March 1st. Applications received after the March 1st Priority Application Deadline are subject to seats available when the application is submitted.

*Personal Interviews: A personal interview is a requirement for admission to the Auburn MBA Program and a fundamental consideration for the admissions committee. It is strongly encouraged that interviews take place on-campus; however, telephonic interviews are available for those who are unable to travel to Auburn.

*International Applicants: International applicants are strongly encouraged to complete the application process as early as possible as documentation and immigration forms require long lead times. International students must present documentation of approximately $32,000 USD available to them in the United States to cover all first-year expenses if offered admission (this amount may be reduced to approximately $12,000 USD is the student is offered Graduate Assistantship funding).

*Wait List: The MBA Admissions committee conducts five candidate review rounds from late-February through the end of May each year. Depending on the competitiveness of the applicant pool, candidates may be placed on a wait list for consideration in a later round.
