Through a partnership between the Auburn University College of Business and Samuel Ginn College of Engineering a joint Master of Business Administration and non-thesis Master of Industrial and Systems Engineering option is available through distance education.
The program is a flexible, video based adaptation of the traditional on-campus programs. Graduate level courses are taped in our multimedia classrooms while the classes are being conducted. Videos are then viewed online or by DVD’s mailed within 24 hours of the class session and are usually available for you the day after the on-campus class sessions end.
As a distance education student, you will complete the same homework assignments and take the same exams as on-campus students. In effect, you are in the same class and receiving the same quality instruction as on-campus students.
Immediate access to professors and classmates is available through the Internet and other communications technologies. You can communicate by telephone, fax, mail and e-mail. In addition, advisers will set aside designated telephone time for you.
