Master of Science in Information Systems/MBA

The dual Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) and MBA program allows students to efficiently and effectively attain Master Degrees in both Information Systems and Business Administration.  This is accomplished as the student completes electives for the MBA degree which also qualify as MIS courses, and completes one course that is common to both programs.  As a result, the student is able to complete the dual degree program with a total of 54 hours (18 hours beyond the MBA), rather than the 66 hours that would be required to achieve both degrees independently.  The sample curriculum, shown below, for the dual degree program illustrates this capability.  In addition, this can normally be accomplished in an extra spring and summer semester.  For more information, contact the MBA Director or the Coordinator of MIS Programs in the Management Department.
