Full-Time On-Campus
Most recently ranked 36th among public universities by U.S. News and World Report and 26th among public institutions for best return on investment by Forbes Magazine, the most traditional of offerings for the Auburn MBA is the Full-time On-Campus program. A 17 month lockstep program with approximately 50 students per class year, the On-campus Program is the heart of the Auburn MBA.
The On-Campus program spans three semesters with students entering in the Fall term and graduating at the end the following years fall semester. Taking place between the second and third semesters, a three month internship is required for students with less than two years professional full time work experience and recommended for all students.
While entry into the On-Campus Full Time MBA Program is the most competitive of Auburn’s offerings, the learning environment focuses on team building, leadership and professional development. The unique community environment found in the On-Campus Program is something that can be experienced nowhere else and extends well beyond the classroom to the entire MBA experience.
Recognizing the increasing globalization of economies and individual businesses around the world, the On-Campus Auburn MBA includes a seven to ten day international trip during the second semester that takes students to study the economies and cultures of several nation-states around the world. Leadership development is a key tenant of the On-Campus MBA Program as well. Full Time Auburn MBA’s learn in the classroom, in the field, in the community and on the job as part of a comprehensive management development program designed to prepare students for immediate entry into the workforce in key leadership positions.
Students are able to customize the On-Campus MBA by choosing an area of specialization that best suits their career needs. The Program includes an eight course core curriculum shared by the entire cohort group and 12 credit hours of self selected graduate level instruction.
